Most holiday insurance policies for either a single short trip or a long stay will give you a package policy. These cover a number of sections ie Medical Expenses, Personal Accident, Money, Baggage, Personal Liability,Cancellation, Delayed Departure, Emergency Baggage Replacement,Loss of Passport.

If you ring a broker and tell him you don’t need all these covers and your priority is Medical Expenses they should be able to provide a basic policy stripping out such sections of cover such as Baggage and Money. This will reduce the premium.
